Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Responsible for sampling, testing, plating, reading, and recording product test results. * Ensure that daily records are kept and maintained. * Data Entry, tracking and interpretation. * Following QC Hold Procedures for out of specification products. * Must possess the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP's). * Will assist in the discipline to maintain a 5-S rating of an "A". * Be flexible in working hours. * Equipment calibration and troubleshooting. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Participate in driving continuous improvement. * Must meet with supervisor daily covering on any issues associated with production. * Monitor all CCP records and frequencies. * Follow-up customer complaints and correspond with production. * Manage product specifications. * Coordinate HACCP team. * Maintain policy and implement policies and procedures including training relating to GMP's, Food Safety and regulatory compliance. * Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment. * Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. * Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and duties as they relate to food safety and regulatory compliance. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related science) or equivalent industry experience. * HACCP certified, SQF Practitioner preferred. * Knowledge of Microbiological, Physical, Chemical and Organoleptic Testing. *Dairy Testing Experience Preferred *Flexible working hours This position is a fully onsite role in San Leandro, CA.
