BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated QA Performance Tester in Raleigh NC, 26705 (Hybrid)

Position Title: QA Performance Tester- Expert

Location: Raleigh NC, 26705

Duration : 12 Month Contract

Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description:

This position is a hybrid role where the candidate will work one week onsite and the next remote for the duration of the engagement. This role provides these tasks - investigating, analyzing, defining underlying issues working with vendor, defining test plans, working with SMEs to test, reporting results to the Release Management function for SCUBI system and other DES applications. Assists with load, stress, and performance testing required for software applications. Duties include reviewing and understanding all business, design, and functional requirements, gathering proper system requirements in order to create suitable performance test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, load test scripts, and test data Setting up performance monitoring; executing bottleneck, baseline, scalability, and breakpoints tests to ensure benchmarks are met Evaluating performance measurements and analysis of test results; and working with other project team members to diagnose performance related problems. Position also helps coordinate and ensure that all testing activities and deliverables are on time; and verifies all software applications are thoroughly performance tested and meet performance test goals. Skills:
Experience in Manual and Automated testing GUI, Client/Server, Web Applications on multiple platforms. Experience in Analysis of the Business Requirement Software Requirements Specifications and Interface Specifications. Expertise in developing Test plans and Test cases using specifications and design documents. Expertise in Unit System Integration, Functional Regression, Security, User acceptance, Performance & Load testing. Experience in Automation Tools like QTP or Selenium. Experience in Data Validation developing and executing multifaceted SQL and PL/SQL queries. Experience in defect and bug tracking using HP ALM or a similar tool. Experience/Knowledge in Defect/Incident tracking using Manage Engine or a similar tool Experience/ Knowledge in incident reporting using Service Now or a similar ITIL tool A knowledge/working experience in state UI-Unemployment Insurance Benefits system. Experience /knowledge of the SCUBI/Tax system
