QA Process Technician - Day Shift

LOCATION: Franklin, Wisconsin

BASE RATE PER HOUR: $24.75

SHIFT: Day Shift - 12 hour - 2-2-3 Schedule (Work every other weekend)

HOURS: 5:45 AM until 6 PM (Starting times and hours may vary depending on coverage due to report-offs and the production schedule especially during holidays.)

JOB SUMMARY/ JOB DUTIES:
The Quality Assurance Process Technician is responsible for maintaining and documenting the practice of the quality systems within the plant.  

•    Actively participates in quality observations within production and within the quality systems and reacts accordingly to drive continuous improvement. 
•    Initiates product holds and subsequent disposition of goods.
•    Participates in Food Safety and Leader Standard Work audits.
•    Creates and sustains the internal quality receiving program, including vendor-facing documentation, receiving strategy, consistency in in-bound paperwork, and insurance of compliance. 
•    Maintains specification documents. 
•    May collect monthly environmental swabs.
•    Orders supplies for the laboratory as needed to ensure continuous operation.
•    Develops facility documentation program in order to improve traceability of finished products and raw materials. 
•    Drives quality systems within the facility and help to communicate objectives.
•    Participates in investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.  Help to implement identified opportunities with the investigation team as needed.
•    May perform other duties as required.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 
High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $24.75.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
