Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for a Software Testing and QA/QC Analyst to join the corporate team in our Raleigh, NC office.

 

You're a motivated, self-starter with a strong foundation of software testing ready to take on the opportunity of implementing software QA/QC. Your dynamic skillset will be utilized to work with new software and technologies as you help define, plan, and conduct testing strategies. You will work side-by-side with our development team, and other internal partners as you build out the testing pattern and infrastructure.

 

This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities Define, monitor, and maintain the overall test strategy for custom business applications and system integrationsDetermine testing standards by creating best practices, policies, and proceduresDocument and present software testing results, quality metrics and make recommendations for continued testing process improvementActively participate in requirements and design sessions to create test plansImplement and utilize both manual test cases and automated testing tools and frameworks to perform functional, system integration, data quality, and performance/load testingIdentify creative ways to break applications and solutionsTroubleshoot and assist in the diagnosis of unintended results from testingUtilize bug tracking tools to report, document, and track bugs Qualifications BA/BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or related field2-4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceNatural collaborator with strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to handle multiple projects and work on business-critical solutions across a variety of different disciplinesAbility to build good working relationships with people at all levels; and understand the needs of different stakeholders and communicate with them appropriatelyThorough understanding of software testing methodologies and techniquesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionUnderstanding of web, software, and application development process and methodologiesExperience with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB) a plusExperience testing against .NET and Angular applications preferredExperience with software development management tools (Azure DevOps preferred) Options Apply NowApplyShareShare this job with a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
