What will you do?

As a QA/QC Testing Technician, you are a crucial link in GSI’s quality control system. The testing you will be conducting makes sure that we are delivering a quality project that keeps our customers happy and returning to GSI for their next project. You will not be working from behind a desk. You will be in the field, conducting quality control testing on our soil nails and rock bolts. Responsibilities Perform Proof and Verification Testing on Soil Nails and Rock Bolts.Provide QA/QC oversight with regards to Soil Nail Wall construction and other applicable construction elements.Assist frontline crew with Soil Technician work when required.Create daily Testing Reports and Jobsite observations and upload to Box for review by Project or Regional Engineer.Responsible for maintaining Testing Equipment in good working order. Qualifications Possess an Associate’s degree in Applied Science, Non Destructive Testing, or EngineeringPrevious testing experience preferredPrevious construction industry experience preferredMust possess ability to travel extensivelyAbility to lift 50 consistentlyMust possess a valid drivers licenseFamiliarity with MS Word and Excel for report preparationASTM testing certification and/or experience preferred but not requiresWork will be primarily focused in WV, PA and NY so ability to travel for work is needed
