What you’ll be doing: This role monitors and maintains Harder’s quality standards while complying with local and state regulations. You will work closely with other field team members to set quality standards and make suggestions to improve production without hindering quality of work.  Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen to work on the client site. This is a long-term, direct-hire position; the successful candidate will be assigned to an existing project with the potential for project opportunities beyond their originally assigned project. Candidates must be able to work locally at a job site in Portland, OR or willing to relocate there at their own expense. Quality Control Professionals at Harder perform the following daily tasks: + Work with the field team on-site to ensure all quality standards are met + Oversee operations and procedures to make sure there are no deviations from the quality requirements and standards + Track quality control statistics, and complete necessary documentation for the Project Management team, and the client + Inspect field work, and work with the Quality Control team to perform necessary tests and quality control assessments on-site + Understand the quality requirements of the client, Harder Mechanical Contractors, and specific local and state regulations. What you will need to be successful in this role: + Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and 3D Modeling software (Autodesk products preferred) + Working knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D software + Ability to communicate and work professionally with a broad spectrum of people including employees, craft, and clients + Knowledge of quality control legal standards and procedures + Organized and productive + Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis Education/Experience: + 2+ years of experience with strong 3D piping knowledge + Previous experience with high purity examination + A current or previous AWS CWI or LEV II certification + Previous experience with structural and piping scopes, as well as process piping detailing experience + Demonstrated experience in high-tech tool install process piping systems Benefits + Competitive salary + Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits – 100% of employee premiums are paid by the company + Generous retirement package includes: 10% retirement contribution made by the company and a company match up to 2% of your annual salary + Profit sharing + Discretionary annual bonus + Paid vacation and holidays + Harder University training and development, as well as other paid professional development opportunities + Team environment that promotes individual growth This position is salaried.
