Qa/qc Inspector
Job Title: QA/QC Specialist Location: Omaha, NE Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Specialist to support our construction projects by ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. The QA/QC Specialist will be responsible for implementing quality control and assurance procedures, conducting inspections, and maintaining documentation to ensure all projects meet regulatory and client specifications. Key Responsibilities: + Implement quality control and assurance plans for construction projects. + Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. + Assist in resolving quality issues in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors. + Maintain detailed documentation of quality control processes, inspection reports, and corrective actions. + Provide training and support to construction personnel on quality control procedures and best practices. + Monitor the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards. + Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations. + Review material submittals and ensure they meet project specifications. + Participate in preparatory meetings and coordinate punch list completion with subcontractors. + Stay informed about industry standards and advancements in quality control practices. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry. + Strong understanding of construction codes, standards, and safety regulations. + Experience with QCAST (Quality Control and Assurance for Precast Concrete) standards. + ACI (American Concrete Institute) certification. + Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software. + Certification in Quality Control (e.g., CQC Certification) is preferred. + Advanced OSHA certification (OSHA 30) is a plus. Skills and Abilities: + Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. + Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. + Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines. + Strong leadership and team management skills. Physical Requirements: + Ability to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). + Ability to conduct site inspections and audits, which may involve standing or walking for extended periods. Additional Information: This position offers the potential for career advancement into a managerial role as the division grows. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
