Job Description
This role is crucial in implementing quality control and assurance plans for commercial underground utilities projects, specifically water and sewer. The successful candidate will significantly impact the company's ability to gain more market share by ensuring high standards of work quality.
ResponsibilitiesStamp and sign off on completed work.Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.Assist in resolving quality issues in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors.Maintain detailed documentation of quality control processes, inspection reports, and corrective actions.Provide training and support to construction personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.Monitor the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in QA/QC with concrete or underground utilities.Experience in construction management.Experience with commercial construction and underground utilities.ACI (American Concrete Institute) certification.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.Additional Skills & QualificationsQ-cast certification.Advanced OSHA certification (OSHA 30) is a plus.Certification in Quality Control (e.g., CQC Certification) is preferred.Work Environment
This role requires working onsite at construction and fabrication shops, as well as the HQ office located in far west Gretna. The company values and rewards hard work, offering opportunities for growth, including potential advancement to a management role.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00
