About the Opportunity 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of QA/QC personnel within our fabrication facility. 

The Role of the QA/QC Lead will report to the Quality Manager and support the site Quality Lead team. 

•    To work with Management to review incoming works, assess requirements and input into estimates, programme builds to ensure quality requirements are sufficiently covered.
•    To act as a quality lead for a multi-disciplined quality team, guiding day-to-day activities of the team to ensure that quality requirements are achieved and commitments to clients are delivered.
•    To produce quality strategies, quality assurance and quality control controlling documentation as required.
•    To lead on supply chain quality assurance associated with the manufacturing / fabrication facility.
•    To monitor and measure performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives in line with trends. 
•    To report to senior leadership on quality progress and performance within the facility.

All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & certification\:

•    CSWIP 3.1 

Desired Qualifications\:

•    Lead Auditor 
•    CSWIP/ PCN Level II, Penetrant Testing
•    CSWIP/ PCN Level II, Magnetic Particle Testing

Experience\:

•    ≥5 Years’ Experience working within a quality assurance role
•    >5 Years Experience of Mechanical Fabrication Experience 
•    Good working knowledge of Health & Safety;


Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met. This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
