Job Description
We are looking to hire a QA/QC Manager to support various confidential data center projects. The QA/QC Manager is responsible for promoting and ensuring equipment and installation standards. Day-to-day operations include planning, coordinating, and enforcing safety regulations and electrical codes.
ResponsibilitiesParticipate in design reviews, providing constructability feedback to contracted engineering firms, and input to design package schedules to support an integrated construction schedule.Ensure that the installing contractor has met customer and industry standard installation requirements.Overall responsibility for the safe and successful completion of the electrical work to ensure projects are completed with the highest degree of accuracy and success.Work with superintendents and foremen to plan and organize activities concerned with construction projects.Complete all QA documentation and any other reports required for the project.Formulate reports concerning work progress and closures of issues.Inspect and support testing of equipment.Communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's representatives to facilitate project activities.Represent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.Perform final QA inspection on equipment.Answer technical questions during project execution.Ability to work outside majority of the time.Essential SkillsMinimum 3-5 years of experience as a QA/QC Manager.Electrical construction experience.Experience supporting data center projects.Field management experience.Safety management experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.Excellent troubleshooting skills for all aspects of electrical equipment.Knowledge of low voltage/medium voltage systems preferred.Experience with Bluebeam and Revit systems.Experience with NFPA 70 codes and standards.Work Environment
The office is located in Downtown Gilbert, with a warehouse in Tempe. The role involves working on a confidential data center project. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, approximately 6/7 AM to 3/4 PM or as determined. The work environment is team-oriented and values collaboration.
