Job Title: QA/QC Manager
Job Description
A QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) Manager at a mechanical subcontractor plays a crucial role in ensuring that all mechanical systems and installations meet the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct regular inspections and tests on mechanical systems and components to ensure they meet specified standards and regulations.
+ Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities for auditing and compliance purposes.
+ Ensure all mechanical work complies with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
+ Identify and address any quality issues or defects in mechanical systems and recommend corrective actions.
+ Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
+ Provide training and guidance to other team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
+ Verify adherence to project contract drawings, specifications, manufacturer installation guidelines, and general craftsmanship.
+ Serve as the on-site visual weld inspector when applicable.

+ Valid driver’s license
+ Experience in piping and quality inspection
+ Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed
Work Environment
The role involves verifying adherence to project contract drawings, specifications, manufacturer installation guidelines, and general craftsmanship. This position ensures that all team members are properly educated and trained on correct installation practices and documentation. Additionally, the role serves as the on-site visual weld inspector, when applicable.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
