Job Description
We are looking to hire QA/QC Specialists for a significant project at the VAI Resort. These full-time onsite roles report to the Project Management team. The project is ongoing and scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.
ResponsibilitiesRead, interpret, and understand interior design and architectural drawings.Monitor construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications.Perform basic quality control inspections of materials and workmanship.Identify and report any safety hazards or discrepancies to the Project Engineer.Assist with surveying and setting out finish schedules.Prepare and maintain progress reports and documentation.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on logistics and deliveries.Assist with resolving minor issues and answering questions from workers.Assist with establishing detailed punch lists and final inspections from Ownership and Design.Help close out project paperwork and provide Operations handoff.Essential Skills2+ years of QA/QC experience in commercial construction projects.Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, MS Projects, and PowerPoint.Basic understanding of Bluebeam (Revu) for documentation purposes on drawings.Proficiency in quality control inspection procedures.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Great communication and documentation control skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in hospitality construction management.Knowledge of safety procedures.Work Environment
This role is based onsite at the VAI Resort in Glendale, AZ, next to the Cardinals Stadium. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with 50-hour workweeks. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with 100% vesting after one year, and PTO & Sick Leave.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
