QA Specialist

As a QA Specialist, you will ensure compliance with quality management system (QMS) requirements,

including AS 9100 rev. D, AS 9120 rev. B, and ISO 9001:2015.

You will oversee the implementation and maintenance of QMS processes, promoting customer focus and continuous improvement within the organization.

You will report to the Global Head of Quality & Compliance and the local Management Representative in North America.

Quality Assurance: Proven experience in quality assurance within a highly regulated environment.Quality Management System: Hands-on experience with quality management systems, particularly AS 9100 or ISO 9001 standards.Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

Ensure QMS compliance with AS 9100 rev. D, AS 9120 rev. B, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.Implement, update, and monitor QMS processes to deliver expected outputs.Report on local QMS performance and improvement opportunities to the Global Head of Quality & Compliance and local Management Representative.Promote customer focus throughout the organization.Maintain QMS integrity during planned changes and implementations.Evaluate and improve the processes necessary for the Global Quality Management System.Ensure the integrity of the Quality Management System during planned changes.

Qualifications:

Quality Control: Knowledge and application of quality control principles and practices.Inspection: Experience with inspection processes and techniques.Audit: Ability to conduct internal and external audits.Batch Record Review: Proficiency in reviewing batch records for accuracy and compliance.Document Control: Strong skills in managing and controlling quality documentation.Aerospace Industry Experience: Familiarity with the aerospace industry and its regulatory requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

Work Environment:

The position is based in an office environment, working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.The company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance fully paid for by the company.Additionally, there is a 401K plan matched at the end of the year and 15 days of PTO in the first year.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/hr.
