Position Summary: As a QA Investigator with WellLife Network, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding both our organization and the people we serve. Your responsibilities include conducting objective investigations into incidents and alleged misconduct involving individuals served, as well as WellLife Network employees and contractors. You will assess program compliance with Federal and State regulations, including OPWDD, OMH, DOH, and CMS standards, along with agency policies and procedures. Additionally, you’ll provide training and technical assistance in incident management and quality assurance, conduct investigations into reportable incidents such as abuse and neglect, and prepare thorough, timely investigation reports. Working across all service areas, you’ll uphold WellLife Network’s mission, core values, and code of ethics.
Essential Accountabilities: Regulatory Compliance: Conduct site visits, provide training, and review documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency policies. Incident Management: Investigate incidents thoroughly, meeting regulatory timelines to uphold safety and adherence to policy. Site Standards: Support programs in maintaining clean, well-managed environments that meet federal, state, and agency standards. Training Verification: Regularly review training records to confirm all staff have completed required training and are well-prepared. Quality Audits and Review Participation: Conduct internal audits and program site reviews as needed, ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates. Perform follow-up audits to confirm corrective actions are effective. Develop and refine audit tools and draft written reports summarizing findings. Team Collaboration: Partner with program staff, management, and leadership to share findings from site visits, address issues, and implement solutions effectively. Developmental Training: Deliver training and technical support to enhance program compliance and elevate service quality. Cross-Site Engagement: Travel as needed to support multiple program sites, fostering a cohesive, high-quality care environment. Effective Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with teams to facilitate growth and uphold service standards.
