Summary: Performs quality functions by ensuring products meet quality standards set by WestRock and the Customer. Complete all necessary testing as designated by the Quality Manager, customer requirements or job specifications. Document and report all testing and audit results to the appropriate member of the management team. Report serious defects, conditions or audit findings to the appropriate member of the management team. Complete necessary reports (forms),Follow general safety and compliance with all workplace rules, policies and procedures, i.e. SQF, safety, etc.
Summary:
This position works in conjunction with different manufacturing departments to ensure our Quality System is functioning properly. Responsibilities include routine quality checks, measuring compliance of the Quality System, participating in ISO internal audits. Pull samples for Customer requirements and sort as necessary. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Qualification / Requirement:
The ideal candidate for this job should have an understanding of our manufacturing process and be quality conscious. It is preferred that the candidate have a background in one of the manufacturing departments with experience in performing quality checks.
Protective Equipment Required: Safety glasses, safety shoes, earplugs, cut-resistant gloves, hairnet, and beard net if necessary.
Essential Skills:
Written/Verbal Communications Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with others. Able to write detailed reports/summaries.Computer Skills: Must have knowledge of Windows based software. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.Testing and Measuring Ability (General Math): Ability to use and read basic measurement devices, (calculator, tape measure, and ruler.)
