Position Description:
Excelsior Inc, part of the Ryerson family of companies, has an opportunity for a QA Tech/ Inspector Level 2 position. As a QA Tech/ Inspector Level 2 you are responsible for inspecting incoming, interdepartmental and outgoing product.

The hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4pm.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Read shop prints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
• Audit all quality check procedures put in place by Excelsior, making sure they are followed/executed during every production phase.
• Ability to work closely with subcontractors, customer and external stakeholders.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards, calibration, and testing methodologies for self and production team.
•       Accept or reject finished items.
• Mark (red tag), quarantine and remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
• Maintain records of testing, information, internal rework NCP’s and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
