QA Technical Analyst - GE

A QA Technical Analyst job is currently available at Belcan in Evendale, OH 45215. This is a full time, direct hire position with full benefits. To be considered for this role, you must be a US citizen and must possess an Active Secret security clearance or be willing to obtain one. Additionally, you must hold an active CompTIA Security+ certification, or the equivalent, or be willing to obtain one.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in variety of technical areas, including scripting, network administration, software/hardware installation and configuration, & virtualization. They will also have experience performing Project Management roles and responsibilities required for driving definition of requirements and design through implementation of solutions across multiple teams.
JOB DUTIES:
Duties for this position will include:
* Inform the project team of defects and errors where necessary
* Communicate both quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the project team
* Provide support for multiple development/non-production environments which span physical, virtual, & cloud technologies
* Ensuring that the final product fully satisfies both product requirements and end-user expectations (aka First Time Right)
* Work closely with our team of Architects, Systems Engineers, Systems Administrators, and Business Analysts - to employ your expertise in software development, systems administration, and virtualization to ensure our systems are secure, efficient, and scalable.
* Work with clients onsite to understand their technological needs and assist with their user acceptance testing processes.
* Develop and document IT processes and procedures and create SOPs
* Conduct gap analysis, redesign business processes, develop roadmaps and proofs-of-concept.
* Participate in testing efforts, including the design and execution of an overall test strategy.
* Establish strong relationships with key sponsors, stakeholders and team members by building trust and rapport.
* Stay updated with the emerging trends and technologies in the IT industry.
* Strategic Alignment with Business Relationship Managers and stakeholders to define requirements
* Drive and govern common standards and guidelines
* Contributing to creation and maintenance of process and a documentation repository
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proven expertise in a variety of technical areas, including scripting, network administration, software/hardware installation and configuration, & virtualization
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team
* Candidates must be US Citizens and have (or be eligible to obtain) a DoD Secret security clearance, with investigation date within the last five years
* Candidates must have (or be able to obtain) the CompTIA Security+ Certification or the equivalent
* Minimum of 2 years in a Systems Administrator role responsible for a variety of technologies
* Minimum of 2-3 years Active Directory Administration
* Due to the nature of the work being performed, this is an on-site position only. This is not a remote or hybrid role

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $95,000 to $110,000 annually. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
