Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated QA Technician to join our team. This role involves monitoring, evaluating, and reporting analytical results of products and raw materials, administering the Company's Quality Program, and ensuring compliance with customer and company requirements.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor, evaluate, and report analytical results of products and raw materials, alerting out-of-compliance results.Administer the Company's Quality Program per customer and company requirements.Review and develop QA procedures.Regularly review production and receiving records.Conduct sensory evaluations, visual inspections, and analyses of raw ingredients and finished products.Maintain sample retain library.Perform final wash inspections of production rooms.Troubleshoot product discrepancies.Conduct internal audits of cGMP areas and premises.Perform tasks as required by the Food Safety Calendar.Conduct environmental analyses and titration of sanitation chemicals.Participate in finished goods hold/release system.Provide technical support to R&D and Operations.Investigate customer complaints.Ensure compliance with third-party audits (BRC, Safe Food/Safe Feed, HACCP).Create and maintain production documents, including archival storage and certificates of analysis.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED requiredBachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, or related field preferred6+ months of food manufacturing experiencePay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
