Job Description
The QA Technician will be responsible for testing product samples from Production and Incoming Materials as well as ensuring HACCP, quality, and GMP regulations are being followed accurately. The role includes running lab tests, including GC and other relevant tests, and performing floor tests such as metal checks, screen checks, weight checks, and packaging verification. Additionally, the QA Technician will conduct Environmental Testing by swabbing throughout the plant, identify samples, prepare QA records, and manage product clearance.

The work environment includes both a production environment and a lab environment within a food manufacturing setting. The plant is climate-controlled, ensuring it is not too hot or too cold. The QA Technician will work with people in production and help coach them to understand the importance of quality testing performed by the quality team. Strong people skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication are highly valued.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50/hr.
