Job Description:
Monitors and verifies critical food safety, quality, and process control points.
CCP verificationMetal detection and pasteurization chartsControl Point Verification checks - screen checks and magnet checksCQP Verification - weight and seal checksPerforms QC equipment calibrations including production scales and temperature checks
Adheres to good manufacturing practices and safety requirements
Supports the SQF Food Safety & Quality System, and adheres to FSMA regulations, by following procedures, participating in training, performing inspections, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives.
Other tasks may include assistance to QA wit HOLDS, sensory and flavor panel, label verification, retain collection, organization and disposal, assist with any FSQ investigations with a cross-functional team.
Verify current material labels on finished product packaging are correct and align with all details associated with the PO that is being run
Additional Skills & Qualifications:Minimum of high school diploma is required. Associate or above preferred.Experience in a laboratory setting and/or food production environment preferred.Knowledge of HACCP and GMPs preferred.Verbal and written English skillsAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to Lead by example in work ethic, communication, and teamwork.Learns new tasks with ease.Ability to work flexible hours when required.Be able to lift 50lbs comfortably.About Actalent
