Job Title: QA Technician
Job Description

The QA Technician will be responsible for testing product samples from Production and Incoming Materials as well as ensuring HACCP/quality/GMP regulations are being followed accurately. The role involves running lab tests, including GC and sensory testing, and completing floor tests such as metal checks, screen checks, weight checks, and packaging verification. Additionally, the QA Technician will conduct Environmental Testing by swabbing throughout the plant, handle sample identification, prepare QA records, and manage product clearance. The position requires close collaboration with the Manufacturing team both on the floor and in a lab environment to ensure employees uphold Food Safety and Quality standards including GMP's, SQF, FDA, PCQI, and customer requirements.

The QA Technician will work in a production and lab environment within a food manufacturing facility. The plant is climate-controlled, ensuring it is not too hot or too cold. The role involves interacting with production staff and coaching them to understand the importance of quality testing. Strong people skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are highly valued. The position is for the 3rd shift, from 10 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Friday. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50
