Job Summary:

The QA Inspector is accountable to ensure that sampling plans are followed, complete and accurate. Evaluate internal retains before the release of any lots into finished goods. Executing visual defect inspection using knowledge of critical, major and minor defect classification. Perform form, fit, and function test on all products. Supports sorting requirements and provides direction to implement specific sort plans, rework and reprocessing depending on the situation. Work with leads, shift managers, operators when defects are found to ensure zero defects are released to the customer. Good working knowledge of Infinity SPC system, processes and procedures   

 

Job Responsibilities:

Final inspection for all product per defect awareness for critical, major and minor defects per the appropriate ANSI sampling plan and adherence to customer requirements, internal specifications, critical testing variables and data collectionWork with operations to ensure that product specifications are be adhered to along with quality processes and standards Report and analysis as needed shift to shift documentation, communication and meetingsAct as a back up to other shifts as neededStrive for zero complaints due to administrative or critical errorsAccountability for all products released to finished goodsVerify line clearance are complete and documentedIf defects are located during sampling / retain program, organize effective mitigation techniques and corrective action plans, material isolation to minimize the total impact of the nonconforming material making it to the customer. Escalate if deemed necessary.
