Qualitest is looking for a QA Test Engineer III to join our growing team in Mountain View, CA United States!

 

Project Starline is working on the next wave of machine learning (AI) driven telecommunication devices, that enable co-presence through 3D displays, face tracking, machine learning, and multi-capture camera with cloud based rendering and teleportation capabilities that transport users across the globe.

 

We are looking for those experienced with system testing in the unified communications and/or video conferencing space.

 

Responsibilities:

Lead and organize software testing team, ensuring all release deliverables are met on time. Organize and execute on test strategy and plans provided by program management. Manage transformation of PRD’s and new features into test cases to maximize test coverage. Represent QA team at release meetings with critical data that impacts gating decisions. Improve existing software testing processes and methodologies. Drive critical bugs to closure, to quickly unblock releases.

 

Qualifications:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Minimum 7 years’ experience in test planning and, test strategy development. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Test Automation in at least one programming language. Adept at troubleshooting complex systems integration issues through log analysis. Defect Triage experience, create workflows and standards for managing and routing defects. Proficient with Linux CLI and/or mobile architecture with hands-on command-line experience. Proficient with defect tracking tools, defect management and release triage methodologies. Can do attitude, team work and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.

 

Must Have:

Experience System Testing with Cloud/SaaS or Video Conferencing. Proficiency Linux CLI. Defect root cause via log analysis processes and reproduction, writing complete bug reports. Bug triage and verification.

 

Nice to Have:

Hands on experience with Python and/or Bash scripting is a plus. Cloud experience - leading test engineering efforts from planning, execution, and delivery for cloud based applications. Experience working with test automation teams to identify and prioritize test cases which can and should be automated. Ability to organize and classify test execution strategies for efficiency.
