QA Tester
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Digital QA Engineer to join our team, supporting the Tim Hortons App (web and mobile), CRM, and other applications. This role involves a balanced mix of manual and automation testing, ensuring the highest quality standards for our digital products.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Team Support: Digital QA for Tim Hortons App (web and mobile), CRM, and other applications.
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, with daily 9 AM stand-ups.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle, Bug Life Cycle, and methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and TDD.
Perform manual and automation testing for ongoing initiatives. Flexibility to switch between manual and automation testing as needed.
Utilize expertise in automation testing methodologies, various levels and types of testing, testability analysis, requirements definition, test analysis, design techniques, and documentation using existing quality statistics.
Build automation from scratch, develop Jenkins pipelines/plugins, and research and implement new technologies.
Implement and maintain automation frameworks for native mobile apps on Android and iOS platforms.
Actively participate in functional and non-functional testing within an Agile environment.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and run them on CI/CD through Jenkins.
Support product releases by crafting and reviewing automated test plans and coverage.
Investigate test failures using root cause analysis during triage, prioritization, maintenance, and planning efforts.
Implement parallel test execution across multiple platforms within a cloud environment.
Effectively use REST API testing tools, such as Postman or SoapUI, on browser/mobile devices.
Continuously improve current frameworks while frequently evaluating new alternatives.
Define and implement test automation strategies, including roadmap, tools, framework, and approach.
Provide technical guidance for mobile automation to junior team members.
Constantly analyze, investigate, and solve issues, proposing practical solutions to complex problems.
Proactively give and receive feedback at all levels.
