QA/UAT Analyst

Job Description Summary

The QA/UAT Analyst will be responsible for directing and managing all test planning and execution activities throughout Asset Services projects, specifically the DataEdge program. He or she will review business requirements and system design to create test scripts and manage test execution through issue resolution and retesting. This candidate will be able to help identify, analyze, track, report system issues, and assist with issue resolution with an overall goal to promote successful application testing.

Job Description

Define and drive program/project test strategy for alignment and execution by the test teams.

Manage the overall test life cycle for software development projects.

Responsible for the development of test plans, test scripts and other UAT documentation.

Manages execution of UAT against previously defined and signed-off business requirements.

Analysis and interpretation of business requirements, and where necessary, elicitation of further information from the business and business analysts.

Ensure that problems are properly documented and that all issues are addressed prior to deployments.

Become an expert in business systems to help further enhance business requirements and test cases where applicable.

Qualifications:

Ability to apply the following skills:

Interpersonal - effective verbal and written communication skills, establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships, and displays strong facilitation skills.

Leadership - advocates and leads change, supports team building, recognizes contributions, and celebrates accomplishments.

Professional - understands and executes industry best practices which include, but are not limited to, building and executing a test plan, test cases, managing issue logs and communicating status with the project team.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Excel

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio is preferred

Experience with requirements/test/issue tracking software (i.e. Test Lodge, JIRA, DevOps) is preferred

Understanding of the software development life cycle is preferred

Experience with Agile methodology is preferred

3-5 years of prior software application or related experience is preferred

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience

Knowledge of Salesforce and real estate management is helpful
