Your Role:

 

The QAF Certification Technician, based in Chandler AZ, is responsible for testing and calibration of work-in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with company and/or customer quality standards. This position will support a close-knit team of employees in ensuring the delivery of a safe and reliable product to our customers. The working hours are Monday to Friday 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM to start, with the possibility to move to 2nd shift, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. This role may require up to 10% travel, and it may require overtime.

 

Adheres to internal and external safe work practices and safety standardsOversees cleaning, welding, fabrication, and assembly activities for compliance with specificationsVerifies flow schematics, inspection of welds, and troubleshooting electrical systemsSupports and follows the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance program at the siteMonitors dimensional inspection of tubing, piping components, and assembliesPerforms functional testing using electro-mechanical and electronic instrumentationCalibrates pressure transducers and electronics weight scales and other process instrumentationPerforms helium leak tests with mass spectrometer leak detectorPerforms pneumatic control testing of ultra-high purity equipment and gas panels/cabinetsPerforms final quality review of equipment prior to release to customer

Lift, push, and or pull up to 50lbsBend, stoop, squat, crawl, kneel, climb, and or reach above shoulderWear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, masks, and or steel toed safety shoes, as required

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Associates Degree in Electronics, Industrial Process Controls, or other technical discipline

- OR -

High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of quality or electrical controls experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Working knowledge of quality assurance and quality control proceduresTechnical training in electronic computer controls or PLC process controlsExperience performing helium leak tests with mass spectrometer leak detector, perform pneumatic control testing of ultra-high purity equipment and gas panels/cabinetsExperience in overseeing welding and fabrication assembly activities for compliance with specificationsExperience with entering data using an overhead HMI screen and or desktop computerExperience with PLC or microprocessor-based process controlsExperience using hardware and software packages effective to enhance productivityPrevious experience with SAP
