Quality Manager – QAQC Manager, Frankfurt

 

Our client is a well-established and thriving specialist mechanical services contractor undertaking the supply and installation of prefabricated and modular mechanical / HVAC and energy solutions across Ireland, UK and Europe

 

This organisation works across multiple industry sectors but in mainland Europe they specialise within the data centre and pharmaceutical sectors

 

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an experienced Quality Manager – QAQC Manager to join the team delivering a hyper-scale data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany

 

Duties will include:

Create and implement detailed quality assurance plans tailored to the specific requirements of MEP systems in various projects.   Define and maintain standards for quality in MEP installation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.   Regularly inspect and audit MEP installations and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.   Oversee and coordinate the testing of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems.   Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate quality assurance processes into all phases of project execution.   Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring MEP installations comply with quality standards and addressing any deviations or issues promptly.   Keep comprehensive records of all quality-related activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.   Prepare Quality Reports: Generate detailed quality reports for senior management and project stakeholders, highlighting key quality issues and recommended corrective actions.   Identify, document, and manage non-conformances, working with project teams to implement corrective and preventive measures.   Implement Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in MEP quality management, incorporating them into quality plans and processes.   Develop and deliver training programs for project teams and contractors on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.   Proactively identify potential quality risks associated with MEP systems and develop mitigation strategies.   Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.   Supervise and manage a team of quality engineers, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure effective quality control activities.   Assign tasks and responsibilities to quality engineers based on project needs and individual competencies.   Monitor and evaluate the performance of quality engineers, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed.  

 

This role offers genuine carer progression with the position potentially progressing to a “Head of Quality” role across their European Datacentre project portfolio
