What will you do?

In this role, you will use process sheets, blueprints, and measuring tools to inspect completed parts for acceptable tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist operators in other measurement setups. Work from process sheets, blueprints, or other written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform Inspection tasks. Help to maintain machines and work areas in a clean and safe manner. Work safely and wear the required PPE at all times. Work in other areas or departments as assigned.    Schedule:  1st Shift, Monday - Friday, {7:00 AM - 03:00 PM}.

Key Competencies:

Read Blue Prints. CMM Machine Experience is a plus.  Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance understanding a plus Knowledgeable of micrometers, calipers, depth and height gauges, and other measuring tools Communicate professionally with machinists, supervisors, and managers, sales and production control employees. Average math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals. Must also be able to convert fractions to decimals. Ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English, Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Work scheduled hours and comply with the company’s timekeeping policy and all other company policies Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment Consistently stand for an entire shift Ability to work in a team setting Accuracy Reliability
