The Quality Control Associate role is based in **McCook, IL** and reports directly to the Quality Control Manager.   **WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO** + Perform quality control tests on aggregate products + Work in conjunction with production personnel to evaluate problems with quality and develop solutions. + Maintain necessary documentation of the testing procedure and results + Prepare documentation for customers and contractors certifying the product quality + Assist Plant Managers with other duties such as assessing stockpile inventory, performing scale clerk duties or other office clerical work, supporting plant maintenance during breakdowns. Build and maintain relationships with plant employees and customers + Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; perform daily equipment inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** + High School Diploma or equivalent required; college or technical degree a plus! + Solid computer skills and MS Excel experience preferred + Demonstrated basic math skills + Strong communication skills to interact with customers, contractors, agency personnel and plant personnel + Work overtime as needed.
