Job Description
The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring the contractor implements an effective Quality Control program and uses the provisions daily to control the quality of work. They review contract deliverables and submittals for conformance and perform daily inspections to verify all work is in strict compliance with the contract, and request correction of any deficiencies. Develop a construction QA plan for each project including inspection, testing, and reporting procedures, as well as plans for monitoring corrective actions taken by contractors. Prepare daily written QA reports recording all discussion with contractor QC staff as well as deficiencies. QA reports should be completed and submitted within 48 hours. Participate in the pre-construction meetings for each construction work item requiring such by the QA plan. Monitor QC inspection and testing activities performed by the contractor. May include working some nights and weekends as the project schedule dictates.

Skills and Requirements
Four-year degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
Minimum of 10 years quality control work experience on commercial or Government construction projects.
Active DOD Secret clearance, DHS suitability, or TSA suitability for USSS contracts in Maryland null
