Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector for the 3rd shift to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform inspection and testing of products, verify equipment calibration, conduct audits, and consult with manufacturing on quality issues.
ResponsibilitiesPerform inspection and testing of productsVerify equipment calibration is current for production and testing equipmentConduct product and machine auditsConsult manufacturing on quality issues in Converting and Coating operationsRecord, chart, and analyze test data for comparison purposesConduct various tests, including but not limited to peel and adhesion to releaseEssential SkillsExperience in Quality Assurance or Quality ControlExperience in medical device or industrial manufacturingAssociates degree in chemistry, physical sciences, or tech field. Relevant job experience may be considered in place of a 2-year degreeProficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel)Knowledge of ISO standardsAbility to evaluate quality based on product/process specificationsEffective communication skills for quality system alerts/documentationAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with calipers, micrometers, gages, and microscopesFamiliarity with ISO 9001 standardsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working the 3rd shift from 6pm-6am Monday-Thursday with a 10% differential. The work environment includes seasonal exposure to hot and/or humid conditions, noise levels requiring hearing protection, long periods of standing, lifting up to 40 lbs., and frequent walking and carrying.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50
