Job Description
We are looking for a diligent Quality Control Technician to ensure the conformity of incoming materials and products through testing, troubleshooting, and visual inspections. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality by reading blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements, and generating Non-Conformance reports for non-conforming products.
ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements in accordance with quality policies, quality procedures, and work instructions.Generate Non-Conformance reports for non-conforming products.Communicate with vendors and customers when required for product-specific information.Communicate with internal departments to rectify potential or current quality-related issues.Perform SAE AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.Perform calibration of inspection equipment as required.Perform other testing and inspections as needed.Essential SkillsEngineeringTroubleshootingQuality controlQuality inspectionReading and interpreting blueprints and schematicsGenerating Non-Conformance reportsTechnician skillsKnowledge of GD&TExperience in aerospace defenseProficiency with micrometers and oscilloscopesAdditional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree or higher educationMinimum of two years’ experience in a highly regulated quality environmentFamiliarity with tools including micrometers, calipers, thickness gages, height gagesMinimum of two years’ experience with CMM and Optical Comparators (OGP / KEYENCE)Proficient computer skills with Excel, Word, and other softwareAbility to interpret blueprints and other technical drawings detailing product specificationsWork Environment
This role is 100% onsite in Mahwah. The company operates on a 9/80 schedule, providing a tight-knit environment with a total of 47 employees. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $54000.00 - $58240.00
