QC Inspector
**Job Title: QC Inspector** **Job Description** The QC Inspector is responsible for the quality inspection of printed circuit boards, ensuring adherence to IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards. This role requires proficiency in operating visual magnification devices, as well as basic electronic and mechanical measuring devices. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain professional relationships with staff and management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in computer-based applications, are essential. **Responsibilities** + Conduct quality inspections of printed circuit boards in accordance with IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards. + Operate and interpret visual magnification devices, electronic measuring devices, and mechanical measuring devices effectively. + Work independently in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely completion of inspections. + Foster and maintain professional relationships with other staff and management. + Communicate inspection results and findings clearly through verbal and written reports. + Utilize computer-based applications for documentation and reporting purposes. **Essential Skills** + Working knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards. + Experience with quality inspection of printed circuit boards (PCB), surface mount technology (SMT), and through-hole electronics. + Proficiency in operating visual magnification devices, calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools. + Ability to review and interpret technical data packages for electronic assemblies. + Basic math skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Proficiency in computer-based applications. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of experience with inspection of PCBs, SMT, and through-hole electronics. + Acceptable visual acuity and eye-hand coordination. + Operator certification for IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 or ability to acquire these certifications. **Why Work Here?** Join a small, clean manufacturing company with a steady influx of long-term projects and contracts. There are openings on the 1st shift (7am-3:30pm) and the 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm). While the primary need is on the 1st shift, there is flexibility to consider candidates interested in the 2nd shift. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
