Job Overview

Perform visual inspections on manufactured parts using calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other precision measuring equipment. Assess various gas turbine components received for inspection by following written procedures, documents (blueprints, drawings, and specifications), and established practices. Perform NDT inspections (X-ray, FPI, ultrasonic, etc.) as required. Conduct First Article Inspection Report inspections and maintain documentation. Interface with engineering and order execution regarding recommendations for work instruction and router improvements.

Industrial Turbine Manufacturing Facility, AC Production Warehouse, 1st shift 5:30am to 4:00pm, 2nd shift 3:30pm-2:00am. Safety shoes rated by ASTM F 2413-05 or ANSI Z41-1999 with I/C, EH, & SD protection. Most positions are on the 2nd shift. Physical requirements include stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, reaching, standing for sustained periods, walking long distances, pushing & pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs, grasping, repetitive motion, close visual acuity, exposure to noise, hazards, and the ability to wear required PPEs. May require travel with short notice.
