Job Description We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector I to support facility operations and maintenance at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality management within an industrial facility and be well-versed in compliance with ISO 9001 standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate with various teams. Key Responsibilities:  Conduct quality inspections on facility operations and maintenance of industrial equipment.  Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards.  Review and interpret building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings for inspection and compliance purposes.  Identify and document non-conformances, providing recommendations for corrective actions.  Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and improve maintenance processes.  Perform physical labor as required, including walking, standing, lifting up to 40 lbs, pulling, and climbing ladders.  Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards in all inspections and operations. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience in quality management for facility operations & maintenance of industrial equipment.  Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification through the American Society for Quality (ASQ).  Strong communication skills with the ability to interface and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.  Hands-on experience with electrical maintenance and repair manuals.  Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing ladders and handling heavy equipment.  OSHA Certification (valid and up to date).
