This role requires a strong background in **wet chemistry and instrumental laboratory analysis** , with the ability to operate analytical instruments and perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products. The ideal candidate will work **independently** after initial training and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. 📍 **Location:** Rock Hill, SC ⏰ **Schedule:** Monday – Thursday, **9:00 PM – 7:00 AM** (3rd Shift) 💰 **Pay Rate:** $23/hour 📄 **Employment Type:** Contract to Hire **Key Responsibilities:** ✔️ Perform **laboratory analysis** on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products. ✔️ Release **raw materials and finished products** while ensuring quality compliance. ✔️ Generate **raw material and finished product labels** for tracking and compliance. ✔️ Operate and maintain **analytical instruments** , including: + Gas Chromatographs (GC) + High-Pressure Liquid Chromatographs (HPLC) + Autotitrators + Karl Fischer apparatus + Viscometers + Furnaces and drying ovens✔️ Conduct **instrument calibrations** and troubleshoot equipment as needed.✔️ Accurately **record and report analytical results** in written, electronic, and oral formats.✔️ Work **independently after 2-4 weeks of training** under a QC Manager or trained Chemist.✔️ Collaborate with **manufacturing supervisors and lab personnel** to provide analytical support for production processes.✔️ Maintain the **laboratory according to 5S standards** , ensuring cleanliness and efficiency.✔️ Perform **basic chemical calculations** (Molarity, Normality, Mole Equivalents) and understand chemical nomenclature.✔️ Adhere to **safety protocols** for chemical handling and be familiar with MSDS documentation. **Qualifications & Skills:** ✅ **Education & Experience (One of the Following):** + **High School Diploma/GED** + 4 years of relevant work experience + **Associate’s Degree** + 2 years of relevant work experience + **Bachelor’s Degree** + 6 months of relevant work experience + **Master’s Degree** (no experience required) ✅ **Preferred Experience & Skills:** + **GMP Technical Support, Validation, Engineering, or Process Development** background + Experience with **equipment and cleaning validation** + Strong **data analysis and visualization** skills + **Technical writing** experience is a plus + Excellent **organizational and communication skills** **Why Join Us?** 🌟 **Competitive pay** at $23/hr with potential for full-time hire. 🌟 Hands-on experience with **state-of-the-art lab equipment** . 🌟 Opportunity to work **independently in a dynamic laboratory environment** . 🌟 Collaborative and supportive team with **career growth potential** . 🔬 **Interested?
