Job Title: QC Lab TechJob Description We are seeking a dedicated QC Lab Tech to join our team. The primary role involves testing incoming materials such as yeast, dough, cream, milk, and more for various quality parameters, including pH, brix, titration, and moisture. The role also includes adhering to GMP and SOP standards, conducting pre and post inspections, and performing data entry in SAP. Responsibilities + Test incoming materials (yeast, dough, cream, milk, etc.) for pH, brix, titration, and moisture. + Perform GMP and SOP procedures. + Test raw materials and swab machines after cleaning. + Conduct pre and post inspections. + Enter data in SAP. + Bake finished goods to validate properties. + Overlook manufacturing lines and document procedures. + Communicate via email and report tasks effectively. Essential Skills + Experience in QC/QA testing of raw materials and analytical testing. + Proficiency in testing pH, brix, moisture, salt, and viscosity. + Strong documentation skills. + Ability to bake test products when required. + Good communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Food Science preferred, but not required. + High school diploma with a focus on higher education or an Associate degree is acceptable. + Solid food manufacturing experience is considered. Work Environment The QC Lab Tech will work in a lab setting, checking incoming baking materials for a variety of quality checks using standard lab equipment. Periodic checks of production equipment following SOPs are also required. This role supports a dynamic and expanding location with opportunities for career growth.
