Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Job Description

Analyze raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods for conformance to pre-established work instructions and specifications. Operate laboratory equipment such as weigh scales, colorimeters, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and automatic and manual tiltrotors. Perform manufacturing facility quality inspections. Investigate and ascertain the cause of analysis variance. Examine critically test results and enter data in the LIMS. Examine critically test results from Entry Level Analysts and enter data in the LIMS. In collaboration with QCS, perform calibrations and standardizations of the QCL equipment and methods. In collaboration with QCS, comply with standard laboratory procedures to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the laboratory instruments, titrating solutions, reagents, and standards. In collaboration with QCS, maintain the housekeeping of the QCL. Participate in and successfully complete all required laboratory training classes.

This is a contract position with a duration of 8 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Totowa, New Jersey.

Work Environment

Team-oriented environment. 2nd shift 1:30-10pm with 1-2 Saturdays per month in the morning for about 6 hours which will be OT.
