Job Description
We are seeking a QC Lab Technician to join our team. This role involves performing quality control analysis of products, raw materials, and contributing to special inter-department projects. The shift for this position is Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional overtime and possible Saturdays.
ResponsibilitiesConduct QC analysis of products, raw materials, and special inter-department projects as needed.Analyze, approve/reject, and adjust products and raw materials based on corporate QC specifications.Reexamine retained product samples when defects are suspected.Interface with manufacturing personnel to ensure product quality.Operate laboratory equipment and instruments, including titrations, viscosity, pH, ICP, AA, and HPLC.Collaborate with Manufacturing and Purchasing departments to maintain high standards for raw materials and sources.Maintain accurate records of test results and enter data into the computer system.Perform general laboratory housekeeping and other assigned duties.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology.1+ years of hands-on lab experience, including titrations, pH testing, and viscosity measurements (experience can be from college).Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in Word and Excel.Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ICP, AA, IFTR, and HPLC (can be from school).Work Environment
You will report to the QC Lab Manager. The lab is newly built, ensuring a clean and efficient work environment. The pace is quick, so the ability to keep up is essential.
