**QC Lab Technician- Cosmetics** Manufacturing livermore, CA, US Pay Rate Low: 24 | Pay Rate High: 26 + Added - 04/03/2025 Apply for Job _Our client, a personal care & household products manufacturer, is seeking a skilled QC Lab Technician to join their team in Alameda County, CA!_ **Location:** Alameda County, CA **Pay rate:** $24- $26/ hr. **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexibility required based on production needs). **Job type:** Contract-hire **Responsibilities:** + Adhere to company SOPs, procedures, and policies. + Test products at various stages (in-process, bulk product, finished goods). + Conduct routine tests on products, such as pH, specific gravity, viscosity, and sensory testing (color, odor, appearance, texture). + Send samples to contract labs and customers; perform follow-up as necessary. + Maintain and file samples according to procedures. + Record and document QC test results, including lot numbers, test results, and physical observations. + Perform routine calibration and maintenance of lab equipment. **Qualifications:** + High School diploma or GED, with 4 years of relevant lab experience. + Experience with pH testing, specific gravity, viscosity, and sensory evaluations is a plus! + Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages). + Basic computer skills (MS Office). + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong time management and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and ownership. _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
