Job Description

The QC Lab Technician Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through meticulous laboratory and quality assurance functions. This position offers a balance between lab and floor responsibilities, providing a well-rounded experience that could lead to various future career paths.

ResponsibilitiesPerform microbiological analysis of products, water, and environment to support Pre-Operation sanitation and HACCP program.Accurately collect samples for product testing including energy drinks, sweetener samples, raw water, treated water, sanitation rinse water, and post sanitation swabbing.Conduct analytical testing on bottles and cans, including CO2, air, volumes, crimp, torque, pH, Brix, flavor, seam check, and titratable acidity.Perform HPLC analysis for caffeine and preservative levels.Conduct T.O.A. of finished products (Taste, Odor, Appearance).Ensure the accuracy and calibration of all measuring devices.Accurately record and document results from product analysis.Ensure batching sheets are properly filled out and within specifications before signing off..Skills & QualificationsAA or BA/BS in a Scientific Discipline is preferred.Experience in manufacturing support for quality functions.1+ Years of experience in Food QualityData/Documentation and Communication SkillsAbout Actalent
