Job Overview:

The QC Scientist will play a critical role in executing and leading quality operations within our biopharma environment. You will utilize your expertise in nucleic acid manufacturing and quality method development to ensure that our processes meet the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute quality control operations for nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) manufacturing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.Develop and validate quality methods and analytics, including HPLC, UPLC, and mass spectrometry.Conduct environmental monitoring and microbiological assays, including endotoxin testing and protein clearance.Implement and maintain quality systems compliant with ISO9001, ISO13485, and cGMP guidelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.Provide training and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or a related life science field (PhD preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality operations within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry.In-depth knowledge of nucleic acid manufacturing processes and analytical techniques.Experience with microbiology assays and environmental monitoring.Familiarity with quality management systems, including ISO and cGMP standards.Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.Commitment to laboratory safety and handling of chemicals and biological materials.
