Job DescriptionWe are seeking a QC Scientist I to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting bench testing, including sample preparation, wet chemistry, standard weighing, and dilutions. Over time, the candidate will receive training on HPLC and GC. This role involves working in both the Oral Dose Solids and Nasals departments. The QC Scientist I will support the development of manufacturable multisource pharmaceutical products through chemical and physical analyses, provide analytical support for the release of registration materials for regulatory submissions, and assist with analytical method validation and transfer activities.
ResponsibilitiesPerform assigned analytical tasks in support of product development, registration lot release, and pre and post regulatory submission activities.Conduct activities within assigned timelines and in compliance with cGXP's, and company practices and procedures.Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices.Document analytical activities and results accurately, in a timely manner, and maintain data integrity.Follow written analytical procedures and identify execution challenges of analytical methods.Support troubleshooting activities for analytical methods.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a Science field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Pharmaceutical Science).Strong chemistry lab experience from school or outside of school.Experience with sample preparation, dilutions, and chemical testing.Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work with supervision using scientific judgment and professional competency.Work Environment
This is a fast-paced environment where you will spend time working in both the quality group and occasionally the manufacturing area. The position follows a 1st shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with some flexibility. Initially, the schedule will be 5 days of 8-hour shifts, which can transition to a 4 days of 10-hour shifts schedule after training.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
