Job Description
The Digital Lab, Website QC Specialist, is a key cross-functional member of the Web Channel team responsible for leading quality checks and analysis on AbbVie’s Digital Marketing Platform (ADMP) website projects. This position plays a critical role in delivering high quality, perfectly functioning AEM websites to customers. You will test and evaluate authored content on AEM CMS and help identify mistakes, errors, and other user experience issues.
The Website UX QC specialist is specifically responsible for In-house POD authored website quality across Consumer and HCP (health care professional) working with cross functional team members in an agile POD, you will partner closely with Web specialists to understand the scope and requirements of the projects and own the quality through the content life cycle.
This role will focus on tactical execution of the QC of websites, including Functional Requirements Document updates, testing of authored content, and all revisions completing publishing on AEM environment. As a primary Quality subject matter expert, this role is responsible to ensure project briefs match the executed authoring updates, to ensure that every project delivers the Brand message to its target audiences and meets business objectives. Success in this role will be demonstrated by providing quality work output, screening for errors, and refining usability throughout the software development and implementation process.
As a member of the AbbVie Digital Lab supporting our brand franchises, the Website QC manager is responsible for working with multiple stakeholders and coordinating across a large matrixed organization of stakeholders including, Marketing, IT, AORs & Agency partners, and Analytics and Marketing Operations stakeholders.
Primary responsibilities of this role:
Check all authored work against Project Brief before it is sent to Web Specialists (WS)Check all authored edits post-MRP review, before WS/agency review, and before screen-shotting for Final submissionQC all Content Matrices before they are submitted to Platform Team – Submit to Platform team and own the communication to streamline process.Own QC Metrics and reporting for Content projectsPartner with Web Specialists to produce FRD Functional Requirement Document updates.Be flexible. Embrace and exercise a Test and learn approach to adopt and modify over time key enhancements to overall web authoring and publishing process.Additional key Responsibilities Include:
Familiarity with process management tools including but not limited to: Trello, Smartsheet, etc.Enable new processes that create efficiency and agility and guide marketers and agencies in new ways of workingCollaborate effectively in a matrixed environment with Brand Marketing, Creative/CRM/Digital agencies, Media, Market Research, Analytics, Business Technology Solutions (BTS), Sales Operations, and Medical/Regulatory/Legal integrated business partners.Partner closely with Marketing Operations and including Medical/Regulatory/Legal/Privacy partners to educate, lead and help AbbVie anticipate and balance organizational needs. Troubleshoot roadblocks and identify creative and compliant solutions to facilitate forward motion of new initiatives.Learn or leverage expertise in pharma requirements and guidelinesQualifications
Minimum 5 years of QA testing experience and/or web editing experienceIn depth knowledge and experience working on commercial websitesExperience in Agile frameworks desired.High attention to detail and solid analytical skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s degree preferredRequires strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to be effective managing through a highly matrixed organization.Skills required include business acumen, organizational assessment, creativity, interpersonal skills, and quantitative analytical abilities.Outstanding communicator and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of technical and non-technical people.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
