Description Position is responsible for performing quality audits on products and processes at various points during receiving, production and packaging to ensure adherence to company quality standards. Perform QC tasks including product sampling, line monitoring, auditing, lab testing and calibration to ensure compliance to specifications Responsible for holding products that do not meet company quality standard and provide the appropriate dispositions Understand all of the information contained within a product specification sheet Be knowledgeable of the quality characteristics for the product packaged Conduct lab testing procedures such as brix, refractory index, PH, density, sensory, weights, moisture, testing, etc. Working with pH meter, viscosity meter, GCMS Skills food science, Chemistry Top Skills Details food science,Chemistry Additional Skills & Qualifications AA/BA/BS degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related science field OR 1+ Year experience of Food QC Work with specific testing experience: Conduct lab testing procedures such as brix, refractory index, PH, density, sensory, weights, moisture, testing, etc. Must be able to wear half-face respirator - they only wear it when they're working with specific chemicals in production Ability to work OT and Weekends **Candidates must want to work and stay in food industry Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
