QC Technician
Job Title: QC Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated QC Technician to join our team. The main responsibilities include line auditing for the production of bread, environmental monitoring, and air sampling. This role also involves participating in monthly SQF audits, as well as performing calibration and verification of scales, monitors, and other basic instrumentation. The ideal candidate will utilize MS Excel, Word, and Office for basic documentation practices and monitor and verify product quality throughout the manufacturing process following GMP guidelines.

ResponsibilitiesConduct line auditing for production.Perform environmental monitoring and air sampling.Participate in monthly SQF audits.Calibrate and verify scales, monitors, and other basic instrumentation.Utilize MS Excel, Word, and Office for basic documentation practices.Monitor and verify product quality throughout the manufacturing process following GMP guidelines.Perform visual inspections and monitor product weights, codes, labeling, and other quality checks to ensure product quality.Address all Food Safety issues and customer complaints with the help of QA Supervisors.Perform periodic tasks on a week-to-week basis.Essential SkillsExperience in Quality Control within the Food and Beverage industry.High School Diploma.Knowledge of Food Safety practices including SQF, FSMA, or HACCP.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Strong communication skills.Passion for the food industry and a desire to grow in this field.Additional Skills & QualificationsHACCP or SQF Certification (preferred).Bilingual abilities.Enjoyment of being on the manufacturing floor every day.Work Environment

You will be part of a small team that is looking to grow from 2 to 5 members. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm, with slight alterations of 30 minutes here and there. The culture is communicative, fostering self-starters who can adapt to a fast-paced and productive environment.
