Job Description

As a QC Technician, you will spend nearly 100% of your time on the production floor, using computers stationed alongside the lines to document all data and non-conformances. You will be responsible for identifying out-of-spec/non-conforming products and escalating these to the QA Lead. You will regularly walk the lines, start each shift by setting up and verifying the quality equipment, and conduct visual inspections of products to ensure clear labels and barcodes.

ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and demonstrate safe work practices while working.Monitor the statistical process control (SPC) software suite called Gainseeker.Monitor, measure, and document line processes to ensure conformance to product Master specifications.Examine and document packaging components and finished product assembly for conformance to product Master specifications.Program, calibrate, and assist in the setup of Hi-Speed check weighers, Videojet, and Marsh coders.Program and monitor the Automated Inventory Management system for identifying and tracking finished production.Place non-conforming product on hold for disposition by the QC Manager.Pull product retain samples.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in a regulated environment, lab, SOP, assembly, batch record, GMP, quality check, and quality inspection.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, conversions).Strong attention to detail.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr.
