QC Technician
Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician responsible for executing deliverables and outputs for our Quality Management system. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain entrance into the Biotech field with a medical device manufacturing company. You will be working in a small but extremely stable company, providing extensive experience and exposure to all aspects of Med Device/Biotech manufacturing that may not be offered at larger companies.

ResponsibilitiesInspect and approve raw materials, components, packaging materials, work-in-progress, labels, and finished devices per standard QC procedures and the Quality Assurance Manual.Notify appropriate personnel when Quality Control problems arise.Conduct in-process and finished product clean room laboratory testing to ensure product and process meet quality standards of FDA and ISO13485.Document and route all required GMP forms and documents accurately and in a timely fashion.Maintain Device History records, QC request system, and Material Rejection System.Ensure maintenance of the QC laboratory.Exercise proficient familiarity with the Quality Assurance Manual, recommending changes and/or additions through Supervisor.Essential SkillsQuality AssuranceFDA Medical Device manufacturingCAPARegulatory AffairsComplaint ManagementDocument ManagementContinuous ImprovementLaboratoryQuality ControlAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree (scientific discipline preferred) or 2+ years of Quality Med Device experienceMedical Devices trainingGood oral and written communication skillsMathematical aptitudeWork Environment

The Quality Control Technician will perform duties within an office space and clean room laboratory setting in a clean room medical device manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all relevant items according to the procedures and specifications set forth in the Quality Assurance manual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
