Location/Division Specific Information:

Clinical Labeling Services, part of the Clinical Trials Division, located in Bohemia, New York provides leading clinical label design, production, and management services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Our advanced inspection software, full in-house print capabilities, and proprietary translation and regulatory approval system are designed to reduce overall clinical trial label cycle times.

How Will You Make an Impact?:

The QC technician II plays a meaningful role in the clinical label manufacturing process. They are responsible for ensuring that all labels meet the required quality standards and align with regulatory guidelines. Their meticulous attention to detail helps minimize errors and ensures accurate labeling, essential for patient safety and regulatory compliance. Their expertise and thoroughness contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of the clinical label manufacturing process.

A Day in the Life:Performs visual and software inspections of all label proofs, associated documents, translations, and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements with experienced knowledge in one area of inspection and proficient knowledge in the other inspection areas.Reviews and updates the daily schedules and workflow in the In Process Inspection department, ensuring all inspections are completed on time and in accordance with customer requirements, and communicating with the group leader, Project Managers, and Project Support Associates during processing.Maintains and reports official documentation related to errors and trending for QC In-Process Inspection (IPI), translations, Client Service, and Label Design to the QC Manager of Client Services - IPI monthly.Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of work experience in QA or QC or related field

Required: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Attention to detail.Proficient in using a personal computer i.e., retrieving, transferring, saving, and editing files and demonstrating the ability to comprehend and successfully transfer information between multiple internal computer programs.Good Written and verbal communication skills, including good comprehension skills, understanding of a text, reading fluency, and good vocabulary. Ability to efficiently communicate with internal groups.Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentFast-paced environment that relies on teamwork to ensure jobs are completed within established timelines.What We Offer

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $16.95–$23.00.
