Job Title: Quality Engineer
Pay Rate: $35.00-$49.00/hour, direct with full benefits + $2,000 sign on bonus

This is a full time direct job. Great matching candidates will have a strong shop floor, machining and quality engineering background. You will be working within the Quality Engineering Department onsite at our large aviation customer.
Quality Engineer job duties:
* Assist Production Supervisors and production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems through a drive to root cause and permanent corrective action
* Work with Manufacturing Engineering on generation or final review of FMEA
* Generate in-process inspection steps (as required) and enter into SAP
* Generate C919 product and process audits for the inspectors to use
* Verify the build process to the newly generated AS9102
Core Qualifications:
* One or more years of experience in a manufacturing and quality engineering role, ideally within aerospace industries
* Knowledge in various manufacturing processes (machining, welding, fabrication, and NDT, etc.)
* Proficient understanding of GD&T with ability to read blueprints, routers, planners
* Skilled with FMEA and AS9102
* Computer savvy; Excel and SAP
* Experience analyzing problems, identifying root causes and providing efficient solutions using structured methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
* Ability to communicate effectively with operators, peers, and management, in both written and oral manners
* Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship or permanent resident required
Desired skills:
* Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering Degree
* Six Sigma or equivalent Quality training
* CNC programming skills; NX or MasterCam
